Villages

Buissonville, Forzée, Navaugle

Nestled by the Ry de Vachaux, the small village of Buissonville has historically been an agricultural settlement. This former feudal lordship in the Liège region is surrounded by unspoiled and lush nature. Its church has undergone transformations over the centuries. From a small 11th-century chapel dedicated to Saint-Laurent, it became a parish in 1596, serving the villages of Buissonville, Navaugle, and Forzée. The current church, built in a Neo-Gothic style, dates from 1887-1888.

The hamlet of Forzée, which has historically been closely tied to Buissonville, has a modern church dedicated to Our Lady of the Visitation. As for Saint Willibrod Chapel, it attracts many pilgrims on Pentecost Tuesday.

The small hamlet of Navaugle is sure to charm you with its many brick farms and enchanted forests.
